HomeMade Energy Review
Home Made Energy took 3rd place in our list of the top guides to learn DIY solar power. This particular guide is likely the last of the top five that we would actually recommend to anyone looking to learn how to build solar panels. With their detailed video learning series, Home Made Energy offers excellent value for the money spent, and it does teach the topic of building solar panels quite well.
Below you’ll find our Home Made Energy review. The video clearly lays out what comes with this learning package, and it also details why we put it in third spot. This one may have actually beat Earth 4 Energy for 2nd spot, as the instructional quality of the video series is excellent. However, the lack of content in the Home Made Energy eBook, and a couple of issues with the intro videos (we aren’t sure if these are ongoing issues), led us to put this one in third place.

Home Made Energy Review
From our reviews of the top guides to solar and wind power, Homemade Energy took third place. We do recommend this guide as one of the top three, however because of some little issues we had, and because of lack of content in the Homemade Energy guide itself, most will be better off with one of the top two guides. Here is what we found with our Homemade Energy Review:
- HomeMade Energy Book Lacked Content – The eBook that comes with HomeMade Energy is made up of mostly filler content. Since the Earth 4 Energy guides and Green Power Easy guides beat this one by far, they recieved higher ratings for content/ease of use.
- HomeMade Energy Intro Videos – We had some issues getting the introductory videos to play. Since they were intro videos and they weren’t important to instructional content we didn’t take too many points away for this. However, since we expect every part of a product we purchase to work – they did lose some ratings because of this.
- HomeMade Energy Solar Videos – If it wasn’t for the first two elements listed, HomeMade energy may have taken second place. The instructional quality of their solar panel videos is excellent.
All in all, HomeMade Energy does deliver on what it promises. It does teach you how to build solar panels, and the video content is quite good. However, since we felt the instructional quality of Green Power Easy and Earth 4 Energy was better, you may want to watch those video reviews before choosing this particular guide.
