As the #2 guide to learn DIY solar, Earth 4 Energy is one of the guides we felt was well worth the price. With the recent updates to their eBooks and video series, we moved Earth 4 Energy from the #3 spot to #2. The new solar panel videos included in their package have greatly increased the value for those looking to learn to build their own solar panels.
In the video below you’ll find our Earth 4 Energy review. The video review clearly lays out what comes with Earth 4 Energy, and it shares our reasoning behing putting this one in 2nd spot. We still don’t feel that it offers as much value as Green Power Easy. However, having said that, if your sole purpose is to learn how to build a solar panel (and you aren’t looking to learn how to convert a home to solar power), then you can’t go wrong with the Earth 4 Energy package.

Earth 4 Energy Review
With Earth 4 Energy’s recent product upgrade, they are actually in a close second place to Green Power Easy (the #1 Guide). With either of the top two guides you will learn the topic of DIY Solar Power well. Here’s our quick review of Earth 4 Energy, and more imporantly the reasons why we rated this one so highly.
- Value – We felt Earth 4 Energy offered excellent value for the money. The instructional content is very good, and the material included makes it well worth the price paid for this alternative energy ebook/video series.
- Focused Guides – Although they don’t have the longest guide to alternative energy (Green Power Easy does), the solar power and wind power guides included with Earth 4 Energy do provide excellent instruction and good illustrations. Even the most inexperienced will be able to build solar panels with this guide.
- Solar Panel Video Series - The new how to build solar panels videos added to Earth 4 Energy do add a lot of value to the product itself. In fact, this particular video series is what brings Earth 4 Energy into a very close 2nd place behind Green Power Easy.
All in all, you can’t go wrong with Earth 4 Energy as a guide to DIY Solar Power. The instructional quality of the included material is excellent, and the value for the cost is also great. We did feel that Green Power Easy still has them beat (by a small margin), but really you can’t go wrong with this DIY Solar guide.
